Another week has passed......WE MADE IT!  If you are like me and you are stuck in your home working your normal job and also facilitating your kids online learning you've earned yourself a Friday cold beverage......or 6.  One thing this remote learning process has taught me is that not only am I the class proctor but I'm also the: school nurse, lunch lady, janitor, tech support, guidance counselor, vice principle, study hall monitor and class bell ringer. 

Anyway........here's a list of places you can visit to help you forget the week that just past and help you prepare for the week on the horizon.  Make the most of your freedom Drinking Springs! ........also buy this hat because it's amazing!

Weekend Update 9/25-9/27.

🍺Acopon open 2-7pm Friday, Saturday 1-7pm, and Sunday 1-6pm for onsite consumption and cans to go.  Patio is open and the weather is perfect to watch people stroll past on Mercer St. Sauce It Up wood fried pizza will be providing the food this weekend.  They opened a new cask of Homunculus this weekend. - get it while the getting is good.

🍺 One Shot Distillery open 5-10 Thursday/Friday, Saturday 12p-10p, and Sunday 12p- 8p. Onsite food truck, drink service and growler fills. No music is listed for this weekend but keep an eye on their social channels in case that changes. Either way the weather this weekend is perfect so stop over and grab a slushy in the shade. 

🍺 Last Stand Brewing Company open 12-6 Friday/Saturday/Sunday.  Beer Garden is open to enjoy your to go cans before you go.  They posted a full food menu on their FB page and it looks very good.  

🍺 Beerburg  Open 3-8 Friday, 12-8 Sat/Sun for onsite and to go orders.  Restaurant onsite with outdoor seating.  They have been hosting weekly virtual happy hours every Thursday, be sure to check it out this coming week.  Sundays from 12-4 they are now serving breakfast tacos!

🍸 Treaty Oak Distilling open 12-9 Fri-Sun. Full restaurant and plenty of outdoor space to socially distance. Food, drinks, open space....the onsite restaurant- Alice's Restaurant, has opened back up for 5 day a week service Wed-Sun.  They had live music last weekend but nothing on the calendar as of now.  Still always a DSTX favorite weekend stop. 

🍺12 Fox Beer Co Open 12-9 Friday/Saturday; 12-7.  Beer garden is open, lots of spread out tables to enjoy food and music.  This weeks food truck is Pottsies and Hangry's Food Trailer.  Friday band is The Texas Troublemakers Band; Saturday The Swingin Dutchmen-Der Klein Steins and on Sunday Reed Meisters.  They also have their Foxtoberfest going on all weekend long, games, prizes and seasonal snacks Sat/Sun.  It's a must stop this weekend. 

🍸 Frog Pond Distillery open Saturday for bottle sales 1-6.  They offering premade mocktails of their signature drinks to go that can be picked up and then alcohol added when you get home.  

🍺 Twisted X Brewing Open Friday/Saturday 11-9 and Sunday 12-8. tasting room is open, Daniele's Pies making pizza and lots of open space to enjoy your drinks/pizza.  Twisted X has opened up the parking lot and areas around the tasting room, if you haven't been recently you should check it out.  

🍺 The Shady Llama sadly they are still unable to open due the executive order. Fingers crossed that will change soon, we miss the views and the Llamas!

🍺 Bell Springs Brewing Company open Fri-Sun 11-6.  Food truck onsite all weekend.  Check their FB page for what trucks will be there this weekend.  They are encouraging you to bring blankets and chairs so you can spread out on the property and enjoy the day in the shade with a beer. Their Oktoberfest tickets are on sale now, check their FB for link. 

🍺 Suds Monkey Brewing open 3-9 Fri/Sat, 12-8 Sunday. Pizza available onsite, tap room is open for dine in eating and the outdoor beer garden is open to the public.  Pizza specials all weekend long.  They have new football season hours, meaning if the game is still playing they are still open!

🍸 Desert Door Tasting room is back open!  Thursday from 6-7:30pm they will be streaming their 3rd Annual Mesquiteers Fest (Link on FB page) advanced purchase required, check FB for details.  . They have thier Wild Texas Music Series back for onsite entertainment starting at 5pm.  This week: Friday-David Touchton, Saturday Kentucky Divide, Sunday Fallon Franklin.

🍺 Family Business Beer Company Beer grove is officially back open this week! It's by reservation only so head to their the FB and click the link to secure your spot.  They are serving up all the FBBC beers you love and artisan pizza. 

🍸Revolution Spirits open for dine in and take out Fri/Sat 1-7pm.  They are right next to Last Stand and you can easily support two local spots with one stop of the car.  The BBQ from their onsite truck is amazing.  

 🍺Vista Brewing open for reservations and pick up orders Friday 4-9, Sat/Sun 1-9. Please follow the reservation system on their website to secure your space. If you are heading to Bee Cave they have a pop up beer garden at the Hill Country Galleria all weekend, along with music in the main lawn of the Galleria on Saturday.   Friday night at the Driftwood taproom they have Nichole Wagner performing at 7pm. 

 🍺 Roadrunners Bar and Grill open 11:30-10pm Friday, 11a-10p Saturday, 11a-9p Sunday. Full Service bar and grill next to Drip YMCA.  Lots of family friendly activities and a nice drink and tap list. Live music Friday night 8pm- The Merbels No Sir Trio; Saturday at 8pm Oak Hill Boys.  Their Oktoberfest weekends are happening now- Saturday and they will have weekend Bavarian Food, games and music every Sat/Sun through the first week of October. 

🍺 Hill Country Tasting Room Open Friday-Sunday 3-7;   Have you been here yet?  They have a great selection of local wine, beers, ciders and meed. Great prices and just a really cool vibe.  $18 growler fills all week long. 

🍺 Hitmaker Brewing Open for beer to go Thursday/Friday 4-6pm.

🍺 Savage's Hill Country Bar open 11a-12a Fri/Sat, 11a-11p Sun.  New spot opened up in Wimberly a couple weeks ago and they have had some rave reviews.  Live music Friday from The Percolators at 8pm and then Saturday they have JT Tuttle on stage at 8pm.
