Well another weekend approaches and yet again another change in the way local breweries, distilleries and wineries can operate.  It's been a very frustrating experience for so many local small business and at this point I feel it's our responsibility to get out and support as many as possible as often as possible.  Look, you don't have to hard sell me to drink more when I've been trapped in my house with my kids since March 13th.  One of the amazing aspects of living in Drip has been the incredible community of craft brewers and distillers.  It is a major draw for our community and I would really like to have all these great options still around when live (eventually) returns to normal.  

So Drinking Springs here is the challenge: Make it a priority, hell your civic duty, to go out and buy beer/bottles to go from at least two to three local watering hole every week till this nightmare is over.  The weekly Drinking Springs beer run will go along way in helping support our favorite spots.  Per the Texas Craft Brewers Guild 33% of all small breweries will be forced to permanently close in the next 3 months unless things change.  Let's do our part!  Let's show our love for the establishments that make our weekends wonderful.  

Also through this weekend we are donating all proceeds from the sale of our "Drink Local" and "Support Your Local Watering Hole" shirts to local breweries.  Every little bit helps!  Let's do our part! 

Here’s the round up:

🍺Acopon open 2-6 Friday/Saturday and 1-5 Sunday for cans to go. Please order online prior to arriving for curbside pickup. They have a few beers back on tap this week- Mina (American Pale Ale) and Casca Siris (Sour).

🍺 One Shot Distillery open 5-10 Friday-Sunday. Onsite drink service and growler fills. Yes you can buy and consume your beverage on site as well as support the food truck- Dripping Wings (So So So Good!).  Lots of tree shaded tables to enjoy some specialty cocktails and craft beers. Yes, you can consume onsite under the trees still at One Shot!

🍺 Last Stand Brewing Company open 12-6 Friday/Saturday and 2-6 Sunday. Lots of beer to go options and signature slushees- order ahead online.  They have a new IPA this week, Rocket Surgery, a 100% Galaxy IPA.  Get some before it's out of this world. 

🍺 Beerburg Brewing open for business this weekend for onsite and to go orders. Friday 3-8, Sat/Sun 12-8. Restaurant onsite with outdoor seating. Great food, if you haven't tried this spot out yet I recommend checking them out this weekend. They are hosting a zoom happy hour today at 5, check their FB for log in details.

🍸 Treaty Oak Distilling open 12-8 Fri-Sun. Full restaurant and plenty of outdoor space to socially distance. Stop in and grab a bottle of their new premade Old Fashioned Cocktail....it's delicious! 

🍺 Jester King Brewery open 12-8. Reservation only. Lots of open space and great food options. Visit their website for reservation details.  This week they have a couple new batches ready for you to enjoy.  Great pizza, lots of shade and an overall awesome spot to enjoy something sour. 

🍺12 Fox Beer Co Open 12-9 Friday/Saturday; 12-7.  Big Franks Taco Truck food truck is serving up the eats this weekend.  With the recent changes check with your beer slinger on if Big Franks will be doing a BYOB service down the street at the off site venue with lots of socially distant tables for you to stuff your face and drink your brew. 

🍸 Frog Pond Distillery open Saturday for bottle sales 1-6.  They are providing nice mixer kits to help make some of their signature cocktails with their to go orders.

🍺 Twisted X Brewing Open Friday/Saturday 11-9 and Sunday 12-8. They have Wood Fried Pizza flipping pies and plenty of beer to go.  Come out and grab both!

🍺 The Shady Llama sadly they are still unable to open due the executive order. Fingers crossed that will change soon, we miss the views and the Llamas!

🍺 Bell Springs Brewing Company open for pick up to go Fri-Sun 11-6.  Keep an eye on their FB and website to see if they are going ahead with their planned food truck now that the brewery and winery are not open for onsite comsumption.

🍺 Suds Monkey Brewing open 3-9 Fri/Sat, 3-7 Sunday. Pizza available onsite, tap room is open for dine in eating and the outdoor beer garden is open to the public. Yes you can actually buy and enjoy your beverage onsite!  Pizza is very good if you have not been yet we suggest putting Suds on your list.  

🍸 Desert Door bottles and cocktail kits available via to go orders. Need to be placed online prior to arrival. See their website for ordering.

🍺 Family Business Beer Company taproom is closed. To go beer available Friday 3-7, Sat/Sun 12-7. Advanced orders available on their website for pick up. 

🍸Revolution Spirits open for bottle to go orders Fri/Sat 1-7pm.  They are right next to Last Stand and you can easily support two local spots with one stop of the car.

🍺Vista Brewing open for pick up orders Friday 4-9, Sat/Sun 1-9. They have a farm stand on site with local grocery items and all their walking trails are open during the brewer shutdown.
