So it seems I forgot to post this blog yesterday.  Maybe I just started drinking at 1pm and lost track of time.....Maybe I had a shit week at work and checked out....maybe it's my kids birthday weekend......maybe i have way too many excuses....or maybe I just forgot to hit the "publish blog" button like a dumbass!

Anyway lots of positive updates this week.  More and more onsite openings of beer gardens, live music is making it's return to our favorite hill country tap rooms and distilleries.  Things are all heading in the right direction.  Fingers crossed it continues.

We are also working on a neighborhood garage crawl concept for labor day weekend.  More details on that this week.  Headwaters is already on board, now we need to see if Belterra, High Pointe, Howard Ranch, Sunset Canyon, etc are interested in stepping up to support our local breweries and kick off Labor Day weekend with a bang.  Stay tuned this week for details, but first this weeks round up:

Aug 14-16 Weekend Roundup.

🍺Acopon open 2-6 Friday/Saturday and 1-5 Sunday for cans to go. Please order online prior to arriving for curbside pickup. 

🍺 One Shot Distillery open 5-10 Friday-Sunday. Onsite drink service and growler fills. Yes you can buy and consume your beverage on site as well as support the food truck- Dripping Wings.  Lots of shade and space to enjoy your drinks and food. They released their Lederhosen Lager this weekend, come out and give this summer time easy drinking Munich style fest lager a try.  

🍺 Last Stand Brewing Company open 12-6 Friday/Saturday and 2-6 Sunday. Lots of beer to go options and signature slushees- order ahead online.  Beer Garden is open to enjoy your to go cans before you go.  Tons of shade.

🍺 Beerburg  Open 3-8 Friday, 12-8 Sat/Sun for onsite and to go orders. F Restaurant onsite with outdoor seating.  They have an upcoming home brewing kit/tutorial coming up on Aug 22nd.  Register on their FB page for details. They released their Peach Berlinerweisse this weekend.  It's brewed with organic local peaches from Wahl's Peaches.  

🍸 Treaty Oak Distilling open 12-9 Fri-Sun. Full restaurant and plenty of outdoor space to socially distance. Food, drinks, open space....stop in this weekend and be one of the first to try the new Day Drinker Texas Bourbon on sale at the distillery now.

🍺 Jester King Brewery open 12-8. Reservation only. Lots of open space and great food options. Visit their website for reservation details.  

🍺12 Fox Beer Co Open 12-9 Friday/Saturday; 12-7.  Beer garden is open, lots of spread out tables to enjoy your interesting take on a personal pizza by Pizza on Point and listen to live music; The Wyatt Weaver Trio will be playing Saturday at 4pm.  

🍸 Frog Pond Distillery open Saturday for bottle sales 1-6.  They are providing nice mixer kits to help make some of their signature cocktails with their to go orders.  $5 off when you purchase two items. 

🍺 Twisted X Brewing Open Friday/Saturday 11-9 and Sunday 12-8. tasting room is open, Daniele's Pies making pizza, limited release Hazy IPA available for pick up.  If you haven't been to Twisted X yet I highly recommend it! 

🍺 The Shady Llama sadly they are still unable to open due the executive order. Fingers crossed that will change soon, we miss the views and the Llamas!

🍺 Bell Springs Brewing Company open for pick up to go Fri-Sun 11-6.  Last  weekend Bells Springs  partnered with Lucky Arrow Retreat (just next door) to offer offsite seating and food where you can BYOB and enjoy the hill country.  No word yet if that will continue this weekend or if there is alternate plans to offer some onsite services.  Check their FB for updates

🍺 Suds Monkey Brewing open 3-9 Fri/Sat, 3-7 Sunday. Pizza available onsite, tap room is open for dine in eating and the outdoor beer garden is open to the public. Yes you can actually buy and enjoy your beverage onsite!  Pizza is offering delivery now, check their website for details.  Pizza specials all weekend long.

🍸 Desert Door Tasting room is back open!  Call ahead to check their hours and get out there to enjoy one of their many signature cocktails. 

🍺 Family Business Beer Company taproom is closed. To go beer available Friday 3-7, Sat/Sun 12-7. Advanced orders available on their website for pick up. They have Cabo Sabro Tropical IPA canned and ready for to go orders this weekend.  Grab some!

🍸Revolution Spirits open for bottle to go orders Fri/Sat 1-7pm.  They are right next to Last Stand and you can easily support two local spots with one stop of the car.  They have a limited release Farmhouse Raspberry Liqueur this weekend.  It wont last long so get some before it's gone.

 🍺Vista Brewing open for pick up orders Friday 4-9, Sat/Sun 1-9. They have a farm stand on site with local grocery items and all their walking trails are open during the brewer shutdown.  

 🍺 Roadrunners Bar and Grill Full Service bar and grill next to Drip YMCA.  Lots of family friendly activities and a nice drink and tap list. Live music tonight from The Texas Troublemakers at 7pm.  Putt Putt, darts, music and drinks.  

🍺 Hill Country Tasting Room Open Friday 3-7; Sat/Sun 2-7.  Have you been here yet?  They have a great selection of local wine, beers, ciders and meed. Great prices and just a really cool vibe.  Check them out!
